Oh awesome! Can I get a photo of the dash with that OEM EX stereo (and at night lit up)? Really difficult to find what they actually looked like installed.
On a general "harmonious internet community can't-go-wrong" note:
- New OEM 92-95 VX front spoiler & attachment hardware for it. Honda dealer network should still have them
- New OEM pedal covers
- New OEM shift **** - New OEM floormats
- Correct Audio console
- Prelude/Accord red-H key 35113-S84-A01 cut by dealer to your vin
- New bushings/control arms where necessary
On an experienced/opinionated Personel level:
- spoon-style duckbill....or if you want to keep it all OEM a JDM SiR spoiler to make the back end sporty (most likely needs paint)
- Neuspeed springs ($125 shipped on Neuspeed.com) I have these on my 05 TL 6MT
- Truhart shortened sport shocks (less than $200 everywhere with lifetime warranty) I have these on my 05 TL 6MT
- Reset bushings after lowering
- Alignment to reset toe after lowering
- 22mm Type-R rear sway bar + Genuine ASR brace
Wheels are always a personal taste item weather OEM or not.....and tires are a "Whatever's available in your size at the time of purchase" item (since they change all the time).
BTW: MajesticHondaParts.com and AllDiscountParts.com generally have the best prices. Especially once shipping is factored in. Searching for parts numbers is way easier on AllDiscountParts.com. Best place for Acura parts would be OEMAcuraParts.com (they also sell Honda parts, though more expensive than real Honda dealers).
Red "H" key?!? Sign me up! Learn something new everyday!
Here's the real bad-@$$ key. My wife got me this for my birthday last year cut for my Civic lol. It's heavy as heck (made of Monel) and rings nicely when it touches anything. 35113-SL0-A11
Not sure what NVE is? Thanks for the HardRace recommendation...
I think he meant NHV. A common automotive industry acronym for "Noise Vibration & Harshness".
Yes avoid poly like the plague. Our suspension bushings move along multiple axis is many places, and Poly just doesn't survive very long. Hardrace is a great alternative. Also Truhart which are EXACTLY the same thing except they have a lifetime warranty backed by people actually in the USA. I've personally compared some TL rear upper camber links side by side and inside & out. All casting marks are identical. Only difference is the color of the powder coat. Even the box and packaging is identical.
No problem! I bought OEM replacement keys for my EF but the tumblers were so worn that they wouldnt unlock the doors or start the car. So i had these great looking keys that didnt work!

My driver door tumbler is starting to feel worn - do you know if the tumblers can be rebuilt?
For my CRX a new key cut fresh from the dealer solved the problem, so it kinda depends. Worn key, worn waffers, worn housing....won't know till you try?
The head unit isn't hooked up yet. I need to run a bluetooth module to the back of it in place of the CD changer and have the old harness spliced onto the new adapter.
I have seen it. However, since I don't have any CD's anymore, I just want bluetooth that I can hide somewhere so I can keep the stock look and still listen to Pandora or Spotify.
He's probably talking about the one on the firewall.
.
I believe he's referring the "square" hard plastic block-off plate to the right of the radiator (if you're looking at the engine bay). It's about the same size as the AC condenser but just a thin plastic plate. I had one of these covers in my old CX hatchback
