I have a 2000 honda civic si and im trying to see what all kinds of coilovers people are running on there daily with boost making around 400-450whp?

This is an extremely vague suspension related question with ironically specific power output information.

Things to consider:
-Will the car see road salt?

-How low would you like to be (how much of a drop from stock do you want?)

-What's on the car currently?

-What region do you live in? How are the roads?

-Do you care about comfort?

-Do you plan to track it?

-What is your budget?

Those are the basics. That will help people answer your question.

You should also read through the many suspension threads on this and other sites. I know most of them are "I AM USING (X). THEY ARE THE BEST BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE". But at least try and narrow down your choices.

Ok fair enough response. I guess i didnt really think about all that information. Well i live in Virginia and the roads are ok for the most part. We dont really see much salt on the roads as our winters are a hit or miss most of the time. I am running koni yellow shocks with Skunk2 springs. Im not looking to slam the car but maybe 2-3" drop all the way around. I will be taling it to the drag strip on occasions but its not going to be a weekend warrior by any means. Its going to be my daily so comfort is at the top of my list over anything. I want to be able to lower it for that clean look on the streets and raise it to fit slicks or a drag radial at the track. Im not really limited on budget as well

You have a good setup for street and track use, however they are not optimum for drag racing. If you wand to change ride height, use the ground control sleeve setup, this will allow spring changes for your drag days and ride height changes. Drag racing is a different animal due to suspension limiting and travel to optimize traction in the lights. There are many ways to "crutch" the car making hook up better. Do some research or you will be disappointed with the results at the drags. It is difficult to run well with a fwd car, lots of money spent with minimal results overall.

A 2 or 3" drop is quite massive. Its a lot to ask to lower a car that far and have it ride well.

You'll need full body adjustable coilovers to do it properly.

Tein Flex Z is a decent choice. It won't ride *that* great. But...most full body adjustable coilovers don't ride that great without considerable setup. Its got great R&D built in, though. So as long as you follow the instructions, you will minimize your chances of hitting the shock tower with the control arm. I think they're around $700-800.

PIC, AMR, or Fortune Auto will build you a custom setup for $1200-1500.

Or you could use custom rate ground controls for your Koni Yellows. Koni recommends like a 1.38" MAX drop. You can lower them further...but they're stock length. So you won't have much shock travel left. I would keep them up high. They work best like that. You're wasting a good shock's potential by lowering them more than that.

Its a civic though. So...there are about 9000000000000000000000 choices.

If you want comfort and simplicity, Koni/GC with off the shelf rates or Tein Street Advance are good choices. Don't lower the car more than like 1.25-1.38" from stock. Or...this height:
