my 1997 honda accord lx 2.2 4cyl.(not the vtech) automatic. the code p0715 came on and need a better descibtion on locaction so i can find it

Looks like a code for an automatic transmission speed sensor. "Input/Turbine Speed Sensor" its being referred to as.

Heres a link to a YouTube how-to video for the 97-02 Accord input/turbine speed sensor replacement:
The sensor is mounted somewhere on the outside of the transmission so its not like you need to take your whole transmission apart but you will need to remove a few minor things to gain access.

That trouble code refers to the Mainshaft Speed Sensor circuit. It is located on the transmission, under the battery area.

The issue can be due to the PCM, transmission, mainshaft speed sensor circuit, or an engine problem. There was a Honda service bulletin regarding it before.
