Yeah it was the other way around though, Joe originally had the Full Race and Boost Junkyz did the duplication. Joe put the Full Race manifold on the white car. So this manifold is the same one that is on the white car and was originally on the gray car. And yes that Comp Turbo is the one off of Joe's gray car LOL.

Had to re-do the parachute mounting to work with the new drag wing but had a big list of fab work that needed to get done.

The sleeves are intact and not broken, pretty sure it was a rod bearing that failed at the top of 3rd gear. So 10,500 RPMs shot a rod through the block along with some other things. So sleeves aren't going to prevent that kind of failure but no matter what it still sucks.

You can see the explosion was pretty damn big, it melted some stuff underneath but also burned my parachute, my bumper, license plate holder and got greasy smoke everywhere.

However I bought a new bumper and painted it, got a new parachute and got that all taken care of just need to get my license plate holder taken care of and the back side is good.

Motor is out of the car, aluminum rod block is in the process of being built right now so it will be back and going.

I try and move quick, I couldn't sit there and see my car look like crap so first thing was get the aesthetics all cleaned and back to normal. I was also lucky the head had just a little contact which bent two exhaust valves slightly on cylinder #2. So the head needs to be milled a little to clean it up and get a couple valves. The turbo compressor wheel made a little contact with the housing from the explosion but Comp is taking care of that for me.

Transmission has been checked and is all good, so the main damage is the block. I bought a spare block about 8 months ago for $150 bucks so now it is getting built. Everything is done in house at both TSR "Teague Speed Racing" and Locash so it is nice having those guys around for sure.

I will say it is a set back and a costly one but as you can see from this thread the block was built in 2012 and has got me 5 good years and at least 100 plus passes and probably 50-75 dyno pulls. So a block every 4 to 5 years is not bad at all. As far as changes go, I have made so many over the years that I think I finally have the setup I am going to stick with. I have everything basically the way I want it so once the motor is all back together I should be good for a while LOL.

Now I just need to figure out a good way to re-coupe the money I'm spending LOL.
