The Official Formula 1 2017 Season Thread
HAM said he wasn't sure wut happened but at the end of the interview he said it was his fault, it was on him. I think he went in just a little too hot and got caught out. Maybe a bump upset the car but his line looked normal. Massa almost did the exact same thing later. Although maybe if Massa had been worried about making the corner and not his usual moaning about and hand waving at other drivers he culd have controlled the car.
yeah force india was the fastest through the traps and are clearly running less downforce but i was comparing ALO's speed to fastest timed laps
I wasn't commenting about that as much as I want to know if McLaren are cranking on moar downforce to try and continue their our chassis is as good as RB nonsense and dump all the blame for their performance on Honda.
Some of the parts of the interview I posted yesterday really make me doubt how much heart McLaren has had in this relationship this year. I understand Honda showed up with a **** PU but Honda has been making gains and I find it highly suspect that whenever there is any kind of PU related failure McLaren always blames Honda when there is some evidence to support that it is not simply down to Honda being incompetent or having a shitty PU.

At least McLaren is getting new parts and not having to use stuff that has exceeded it's life expectancy. Then again Honda can't get their stuff to reach it's life expectancy so they have to have tons of new parts lol.
I'm hoping the streaming content is rolled out b4 the start of testing and we can get coverage that way. There have been many, many requests to have moar testing coverage. Hopefully Liberty is listening to the fans as they have claimed they will.
if ESPN's broadcast is going to run commercials during the race then it's a no go for me
i haven't seen anything confirming F1's OTT (over the top) streaming is going to be available next year at all, let alone in the US. i wouldn't count on it happening

toto had some critical words for BOT, lacks killer instinct. i'd have to agree.
if you don't got it by now, you ain't gettin it. just another #2 driver.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooo
Yis.
Sayin.
Sayin.
They haven't said what markets will get streaming in 2018 but with NBCSN not wanting to continue because of competition from online sources it kinda implies USA gets streaming in 2018.
Plus...
ok i hope i'm wrong and you're right. it looks like Liberty is trying to secure rights for OTT in the US but nothing's confirmed
Fans in Europe might say what is this **** the first time online content is rolled out but using the US audience as basically a beta tester is a perfect way to develop it to the point that the Europeans would see a reason to pay for it.
