Dropped the truck off at the body shop today and saw this plate
Wonder if they are a Kimi fan
BTW also noticed that the quarter panel on the truck above the rear wheel buckled when the deer (or what was left of it) hit the trailing edge of the wheel well.
I didn't see anything on Carfax but used car dealers make me wary since the two I've ever dealt with in my life sourced most of their cars from either insurance auctions or trade-ins from poor Marines from the nearby base buying cars with no credit.
Price seems in line with what super low mileage AP1 go for. Not a bad deal, not an amazing deal. If the car's clean, has all VIN numbers, etc., probably a solid car. Super desirable color combo too.
i'd definitely go through it with a high powered tactical flashlight and a good nose for sniffing out nefarious clues
i still miss the miata that got away, the most impeccable NB i ever laid my eyes on but the seller wanted small bill cash only and wouldn't go to the bank with me or give me his name and would only meet me in a parking lot. seriously felt like i was about to get rolled

Why was the seller like that? It's almost like he thought you were going to rip him off.
I missed out on a local white '05 S2000 with about the same mileage 21-22k miles. Owner originally had it for $32,000 then eventually lowered it down to $27,000. Was hoping it would go down more but someone ended up buying it for $27,000.
That white on red is THE combo IMO. But why spend that money on a 17 yr old car that was never *that* good?
some disclosure: I'm abouts 6'4" and the not tilting wheel of S2K is a...knee breaker. I can't go for that. no no. No can do.
I Fit in the AP2 no prob but as you said a NB can be had for much less and wood be good for the wife to learn how to push a rwd vehicle. Several of my friend have AP1/2 and I have always liked them. I think these 2 are a major part of the reason I still want one.
