So been thinking about RIC and VER. VER must know something we don't concerning the PU supply, right? Could RB do a deal with Merc to get their PU, badged as Aston Martin in exchange for RIC?

I know Merc said they would never allow the rebadging of a PU but if RB were to give them exclusive rights to RIC now it would make it a lot easier to sign him at a good price. Seems unlikely but I can't imagine VER is going to stay there if RB have a ***** PU. Even if he has an out clause it probably wouldn't be triggered until after 2019 which is a year of his career wasted if he's stuck using a garbage PU.

 

VER isn't going to MERC as long as HAM is there and HAM isn't going anywhere as long as AMG keeps pumping out world beaters. Bottas cries into his pillow at night.

 

RB car has won two races this year and with the new FOM pushing to even-up the show i dont expect engine to be as big a factor going forward.

 

Read again...RIC to Merc, not VER. I think HAM would take on RIC. Plus if he did that he could then say I beat RIC head to head, VET couldn't do that.
