The sheetmetal is cracked at the corner of the passenger side cargo area window.

Anybody seen something like this before? Theories on causes?

 

Hard to tell from that pic ....my guess Could have previous body work and the body fillers cracking

Its not my car and the coworker is away for a couple weeks, but I'll try to do that when he comes back.
He has taken off the inside panels to get a better look and said there's no crinkled metal visible in there. He didn't mention filler... but said the sheetmetal is cracked all the way through.
