can you believe Marcus Ericsson has raced in 72 grands prix already? he has scored 9 points, all in 2015, and his highest finish was 8th place in the Australian GP

GFS shows rain for the fire spots by end of week, that would be nice if it happens...er verifies
i typically don't like the offshore breeze from the high pressure but it's pushing the smoke offshore for now so i'll take it. air quality is still bad but not wearing a mask outside for the last 24 hours has been nice.

Last fire I was on in NorCal we had smoke in ICP for days. I think the best day visibility may have been 1/4 mile, maybe lol. At times it was under 100 ft and mostly seemed to be around 500 ft.

Took these pics September 27. Not sure which fires these are. First one was near Mt Shasta and second one was just past the California/Oregon border.

There were several complexes in NorCal and just over the OR border in August and September. I was at the Orleans Complex, but there was also the Eclipse Complex and the Salmon August Complex (and a few other complexes as well as individual fires but I'm drawing a blank right now). A complex is multiple fires being managed by 1 incident management team. The 1 in OR could have been the Miller Complex

I'd also be peeved if as the number one driver, my team brought in another WDC to be my teammate, rather than a patsy to act as the backup.
