Honda Insights - Sakura and Milton Keynes | Honda Racing F1
I find this rather interesting

“The information comes into Milton Keynes from Sakura, after a day of tests in Japan,” Nakamura says. “So in the morning for the UK side the dyno results from Japan are received. The engineers can then start to analyze it immediately. It’s very convenient.
"But from a management side there are always phone calls and emails coming, the laptop never sleeps! There’s a lot to do in the morning when you wake up." “Then when the engineers finish work in the evening in Milton Keynes, it will be the morning again in Sakura. So it is close to being non-stop.”

I was able to stream Sky last nite with 0 issues. I am wondering if the issue is not on my side but the cluttered up/ad infested NBCSN streaming site. I watched the race on NBCSN on TV and then streamed Sky. The Sky broadcast is delayed by about 45 seconds but is not the end of the world. Plus it lets me get a quick second look at stuff.
During last nite's race it seemed like the NBCSN guys were less apt to talk over the radio transmissions (even Buxton pauses during a transmission) compared to the Sky crew. Not sure if that was just a 1 off or is the case all the time.

So if you were Bob and the Williams seat goes to DIR or WEH, would you consider going to TR (taking into account all the money Honda is dumping into the team)?
Damn I just found this... Esty is rooting hard for this one.

Robert Kubica could have a crack at a Formula 1 race next time out at the United States Grand Prix, amid speculation that Honda wants Gasly to contest at the Super Formula finale in Japan.

How and where do you stream the Sky feed?
What's funny is there are 2 quotes from Honda. 1 saying they want him to try for the SF title and 1 saying they want him to race in Austin. Either there is a translation error or poor communication in Honda.

Which is it?
I saw go win another championship so Bob can ride around in a TR.

"We believe Gasly should race in Austin with Toro Rosso," Honda motorsport boss Masashi Yamamoto told Motorsport.com. "We want him to race there but if there is anybody who can drive instead of Gasly in Austin, we're happy to have him in Super Formula. We are not pushing for him to race in Super Formula."

Gasly has previously suggested that he would prefer to race in Austin, but Honda has made it clear to Red Bull that it wants him to complete his commitments in Japan, where he is challenging for the title. Having won two races this year, he currently lies just half a point behind Toyota-powered championship leader Hiroaki Ishiura.
Honda is keen on beating its rival engine supplier to the prestigious domestic title, while a title win for Gasly would mean that the Super Formula champion would be using Honda F1 engines at Toro Rosso in 2018.

And there folks, is the difference between winning and losing in F1.
Championship rival Sebastian Vettel retired from the race with a spark plug failure, and it has emerged that Mercedes had to change a faulty spark plug on Hamilton's car after qualifying because it had discovered a problem with it.
ferrari uses NGK sparkplugs.
apparently the ferrari packaging makes changing the sparkplug take a long time, and its a quicker job on the merc.

There is a rumor floating around that Ferrari's new spec PU puts moar strain on the plugs due to less allowable burning of certain oil components. This would make sense if the compounds in the oil that are being burned are moar about stabilizing combustion as opposed to energy release. Which falls back to the stupid mid season rule change. Wish the FIA would knock this **** off. If it's legal at the start of the season let it be.
