Nico was great as a commentator.

Solid insight, good comedic timing, etc.

Never a fan as a driver, huge fan of him as a human.

 

He was underrated. More often than not Nico was right there with HAM. Meanwhile BOT is routinely .4 or .5 seconds adrift.

 

ROS really surprised me with his insights. I didn't listen to him at all as a driver, I skipped over nearly all of his interviews - podium or otherwise. But he was great today - sharing insights we wouldn't have heard from anyone other than a very recent driver.

 

Thus far I have not been able to find a stable stream for Bathurst. Sucks too because judging by the bit I was able to see weather is a factor.

Yeah it looks like a cracker of a day there. Couldn't see a cloud in the Sky from pit lane. I wonder how this is going to impact the Merc. If VET could jump HAM at the start the Bulls would be there waiting to pounce. I don't think that will happen doe. HAM has pretty much been money on his starts this year.
