After watching FP3 I wonder if teams are having trouble getting heat into the SS. Lots of cars faster on the soft than the SS. Of course they may have been just working on long runs on the softs since FP2 was a washout.

Track will continue to dry and rubber in but the Mercs look p good on those softs.

 

Will BOT's car be ready for Qualy? He drove it back so yes?

Chuck Leclerc won the F2 title today. I'm anxious to see him in F1. Of course he has to spend a year of mediocrity in Sauber but at least Sauber will have the latest spec Ferrari PU next year.

 

Interesting day at work so far. Several Harrier take offs, passes, landings. Of particular interest was a training variant of the Harrier (last image). From what I have been able to find only 23 AV-8B Harrier II trainers were built for US use. A few were also built for Italy.

 

Pretty good book. I've read it three times.

 

I might have to check it out. I like reading books about fire in the places I've been deployed and this would probably be along similar lines.
