The user B18C5-EH2 on here has a topic in the 5th gen sub on his CT-E supercharged EG. The fitment of his CT-E kit is really making me contemplate the possibilities of fitting one of the Kraftwerks kits on a K swapped EG, retaining AC/PS.
The part I outlined in red I think would be the biggest concern. I'm not sure if it would clear the hood, even with risers since it's at the very front of the car.
Any thoughts? I'd be very interested in pursuing a platform like this, but feel like it'd be a risk to get the kit and immediately figure out there's no way to close the hood.
Yep. Would be more work than it's worth IMO. I just really like the powerbands those rotrex units produce.
It would probably come close to "working" with lean mounts....that could also make it worse. Hood clearance would be gained but it would also throw the bracket directly into the headlight (possibly).
A smaller high flowing turbo + shorter runner tubular manifold would also get it done.
