Agree. If HAM could have won it without fighting tooth and nail he would have gone after it. There was zero upside to fighting VER for the victory yday. And given VER luck this year HAM was prob half expecting to win it via DNF.

 

Not as often as you might think. And Oz 2016, VER was in the STR, which I wouldn't say was a very close match to the Merc.

VER has had run ins with just about everyone, EXCEPT for HAM. Most of that is due to them not really being on the same part of the track. My mammories is never wrong.

Either way, to be honest, as a HAM fan, I want to see him racing Verstappen. At this point Verstappen is one of the few drivers I trust not to make a bonehead mistake that takes out another racer. He & Kimi joking about it after qualifying on Saturday made me feel that way even further. At this point, I'm generally cheering for Verstappen :O
