Damn, Esty. That looks like a heck of a shunt. Glad yous ok doe.

While it sucks, at least the car can be replaced. Surly Esty cannot (and I'm not talking fatbike).

So you hit a stationary car? I guess you didn't see it...
From the pic it looks like you might have been caught between two passing Ferraris.

Z71 actually. Save save save while doing man **** along the way.
Can confirm, didn't see it until it was [TotoW]inevitable.[/TotoW]
Short story:
Following Black Benz down I-10. Fast lane, 70mph. Night time. There is no shoulder to my left, only a concrete barrier. Probably 3-4 lengths back so not on his *** but not a mile away either. Benz hits the brakes, I cover mine, realize Benz is on the binders HARD. I follow suit. ABS comes on. Then Benz jumps out of the fast lane to reveal a 2015 Sentra parked on the fast lane. Have time to say "what the ****". Then there's an airbag in my face that I didn't hit because I'm a giant and far enough away from the steering wheel. +1
All of that happened in seconds. It (the stationary car) obviously surprised the Benz, who would've hit the Sentra had he not changed lanes. The driver of the Sentra (lets just say not a man), got a flat left front and stopped just passed the crest of an overpass, at night, in the fast lane of a major highway/interstate. Instead of, you know, slowing and pulling over to the shoulder to the right. Still, that makes me the principal liability of the whole thing. And out a car. grrrr. But I'm healthy, less my sore neck. Happy to be among the living still.

Might not be a bad idea to CYA and consult an attorney.

That's like what happened to the F4 kid when the car in front swerved to avoid another car and he didn't have time to avoid crashing. I know you said you're okay but wait a few days to see if you truly are uninjured. My friend was t-boned by a red light runner and she was fine for a couple days before she started getting back pain.
Copy on attorney. I reached out to a friend for advice/reference. Their practice isn't auto collision stuff but they all know errybody else.
Thanks bro. These storms are killing me, but we had a decade of nada, so it was bound to happen sooner or later. Praying for the best about your fam. Hopefully everyone is alright.
That's some **** right there. Everything conspired to **** you over. GL with all of it and I hope you hear back from all of your fam in PR p soon.
