Correct. The profit margins on these supercars are so outrageous that they only need to sell a few to get a return on their investment. I don't see many Astons on the road but perhaps they're trying to take the fight to Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, etc.
Let us not forget that Ferrari does absolutely zero advertising, except for their racing teams...and they get F1 essentially for free because of the payout structure.

That's crazy. Lots of video on social media. Don't remember which news site it was but they retweeted a video from outside and the buiiding was swaying. I wonder if California will get a big quake soon. There was a recent 8.1 off Baja a couple weeks ago.

Mah Maria.
I realize it's a Cat 5 but if there is any the good news it is that the radius of max winds is on the order of 5-8 miles. Of course this is why it was able to strengthen so rapidly.

Most of the Formula Cars drivers at Sonoma had these bands on their arms. What are they for? Keep the arms from flailing outside the cockpit in a crash?

Just bing'd around and did not know these arm restraints are common in caged racecars like Sprints and midgets and they are indeed for keeping arms inside the cockpit.

If I recall correctly they started becoming big in the NHRA top fuel classes and their use increased after Darryll Gwynn had his horrible accident in 1990 and his arms were mangled.

Michael Schumacher's family seeks new hope in America
The report said Schumacher could be transferred to Dallas, Texas, where the family owns a cattle farm.
There, a brain injury specialist called Mark Weeks has a clinic that could be a "new hope" for the Schumacher family, Bravo claims. "We have extensive experience with trauma patients," Meeks is quoted as saying. "There is probably no clinic in Europe that handles as many cases as we do."

I'm not sure if their combined luck will cancel each other out or add together.

Toyota would be open to talks with Fernando Alonso about a Le Mans 24 Hours drive next year should it continue in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
