I think they'll sell to Porsche no matter what happens. If the Honda PU sucks they sell it in 2019 but it won't be called Porsche, might even keep the RB name and the team will run an unbadged customer PU until 2021 then they'll officially take over the team in 2021. Honda will take over TR and trundle around at the back until 2022 or 2023 when they drop out. If Honda gets their **** together RB will hang around until 2021 when Porsche takes over.

If Porsche buy RB early it would still be cheaper for Porsche to stay in F1 at the back vs starting a team from scratch (plus it would give them more of a voice in developing the new regulations). They'll run a skeleton team just to show up while the factory team pulls a Merc and spends 3 years working on perfecting the PU and the chassis with unlimited testing(which is why if this scenario happens I think they would keep the RB name). Porsche won't do what Honda did, they'll make sure to have thousands of test miles on everything before they debut.

gah - not sure. FB is a pickle. Lately I've been trying to trim away the excess by unfriending and unfollowing certain people. I don't get ppl that take those FB tests multiple times a day and post the results - what is your star wars character? What is your inspirational quote? What animal are you? Whats the latest social issue that I can mod my FB profile pic with? One chick shares every post from "world of skarsgard"... she no longer sleeps in the same bed as her husband, she's sleeps on her couch and stays up all night looking at FB and claims she has insomnia.

I realize it unlikely, but if Honda manage to improve significantly in the next 2 years, will it change how this is all viewed. I still think Honda were forced to join a year to early and they are still trying to overcome the bad decisions that cascaded out of that mess. They should have known they could jump in with less than 2 years of development time. Stupid.
