The Official Formula 1 2017 Season Thread
I want to be a cool kid with some Ferrari legos
I found a pretty sweet model set for 4+ year olds at my local hobby shop. It was put together using clips and screws (all plastic) and came with a little screw driver too. He loved sitting there with me and putting the whole thing together. Taught him lefty loosie, righty tighty that day. Still remembers that too lol. Dad feels were strong that day.

That to me is probably the biggest problem right now, that the top three teams are light years ahead of everybody else. They are also the teams that develop their own engines, transmissions and chassis, so there's an inherent advantage in doing that.
How do we overcome that? Quite frankly there's no answer to that, which is really depressing.

No one wants your flag.
I paid $20 for a McLaren Mercedes flag....FROM MCLAREN.

I wonder when/if F1 will follow suit.

if i could go back in time i would have been going back to start collecting all the defunct team merchandise. i missed out on some $15 marussia polos a couple weeks ago
gotta love the marussia scene today. filled with lowballers, broke boys, and scene kids that dont understand authenticity and quality. in before "its just a shirt". ask yourself this, whats the difference between me selling this rare shirt for $150 then the old guys who are selling old BAR Honda flags, etc that people find on ebay for hundreds of dollars except the age? nothing, their both rare items. supply and demand.
First time I've logged onto H-T in many, many years and this is the first and only thread I seeked out.
I was just skimming through my post history from 2007, defending Ferrari for winning on merit without assistance....what a blast to the past.
