Default 2.2 vtech to a 2.3vtech

I have a 96 2.2 vtech and looking to buy a 98 2.3 vtech wanting to make sure it will mount and connect. WAS told it would?!?!?

the 97's are awesome, they came with a speed dial button from the factory, unlike the 96's where you had to modify it
