A) how does a stalled wing reduce drag? Does not compute in my life.

If you think about a high-lift rear wing, you know that it causes a great deal of momentum change on the incoming airstream by diverting it upwards. A stalled wing (or diffuser) would certainly reduced it's effectiveness because the air is no longer following the profile of the wing, therefore reducing the amount of momentum change imparted on the incoming airstream. Because less air is being diverted, it actually creates less drag.

What that article doesn't tell you is the stewards were asked for a reason Nico didn't get a penalty for pushing/hitting GRO while KMAG got 1 for something similar was because the GRO incident happened turned 1 of lap 1 and the stewards would be "too busy" if they looked at everything that happened at turn 1 at the start of a race. That's a pretty **** poor argument if you ask me.

i didnt have time to watch the race, just skimmed it. i didn't expect RAI to challenge VET and he didn't, but the post-race stories say RAI was faster and said the race was tense.
did that make for an exciting race?
i had to read to find out why HAM got past BOT and then gave it back. also i read Merc was without data for large portions of the race (due to a broken fiber optic cable) and it affected their race strategy but not enough to change the outcome.

Charade and not the new version, the original 5 mile circuit
If it has to be realistic "safe" circuits I either want Istanbul Park back or the full Watkins Glen but not sanitized. Upgraded Glen fine, but no changes to the layout.
