The Official Formula 1 2017 Season Thread
The cars are the best looking in 10 years and so far most weekends 2 different teams have had a chance to win. How is this not better than the last 3 years when it was 99.9% certain HAM or ROS would win as early as Thu?

Hasn't driven a current version car or even a car with the hybrid V6 and is still faster than Ericsson, who's Sauber is finally running at full powah
Speaking of Mid-Ohio, IMSA is returning to that track next year and dropping COTA.

def a better season, not much to say about it though since the drivers aren't affecting the weekend-to-weekend race pace as much as the development war, and we just can't see what all the bits do on the car so what do we have to talk about really?
So Merc moves BOT aside so that HAM can get after the Ferraris. HAM isn't able to get past either 1 and then on final lap, with VER breathing down BOT neck HAM still gives the spot back and manages to stay ahead of VER.
HAM does some **** I don't like but that to me was pure class. He could have easily said BOT didn't stay close enough (which BOT was instructed to do) and I was worried about VER so I couldn't give spot back. But he didn't. You can tell he and BOT really respect each other.
Fred with fastest lap on lap 70!

Ok then
And freaking Kimi. Every race it seems like he has a gem on the radio. It's how James Hunt used to be in the commentators box but Kimi is doing it while he's driving.

Could Vietnam replace Malaysia on the Formula 1 calendar?
According to The Sun, 'officials have travelled to the South East Asian country with a view to staging a race in Ho Chi Minh City. 'While discussions are still in the early stages, several sponsors, including brewing giant Heineken, are keen to increase their market share in the Asia-Pacific region.'

My only question is will the purse be paid in Dongs?
