ROS beat HAM doe.

JV's music is a minus not a plus.

JV made terrible career choices.

BUT only had a championship calibur car 1 year, JV 2 and Ros 4.

Yep. I gave BUT the edge based on 2004, 2009, 2010-12 and his general ability to find himself in the right place at the right time.

ROS got second for beating both Schu (old Schu, but still Schu) and Ham (even if your coworkers caveats are 100% fair & his WDC is a result of HAM's bad luck).

JV never beat any real greats as teammates & was crushed by JB in 2003.

 

And that pass was pure skill, right? Had nothing to do with the fact that the FW18 was easily the best car in 1996 while Schumacher was stuck with the F310. The FW18 finished with 105 moar points than the next car

Speaking of 96 Damon Hill, another 1 time WDC, took Jacques behind the woodshed. Beat him 8-4 in victories and 13-3 in qualifying.

I can agree with this. I think ROS is closer to BUT than JV is to ROS doe.

I didn't watch JV era but what I've learned about the car is that it was good.

Car was head and shoulders over the other cars in '96.

Also the in car sound from the Ferrari 641 is otherworldly. Sweet Jeebus The livery isn't bad either...

I really can't defend that look. Lew has certainly earned the right to do what he pleases, but sartorially I think that's a total mess.

Bob will be back in the 2 day test at Hungarygreen_gsr next week in a current F1 car. We will finally get to see actual lap times vs current F1 drivers.

You think Renault would experiment with KUB replacing PAL for the rest of the season? Or maybe they don't want to repeat the mistake of JV replacing Trulli.

 

Kubica has the same amount of points as Palmer this year, so there's not much to lose. That said, I doubt they would rush Kubica back this year. 2018? That's a def maybe.
