The Official Formula 1 2017 Season Thread
Sorry Outrun. When I talk about all the millions of jobs that got eliminated due to silicon valley tech I just get blank stares around here. Nobody wants to think about the consequences of their own prosperity.
How do you sustain an economic system that depends on everyone being employed when there aren't enough jobs to go around?

17% for firefighter? Maybe urban but not wildfire lol. Lemme tell you how bad the guidance sucks too. No clue about temp or rh around here. And winds? Pffffffft
But your boy Musk says it's the wave of the future. Erryone will have self driving cars and get paid for breathing. There will be no crime and no poverty. The US will be an enlightened utopia! It will be just like "Demolition Man". Be well, John Spartan.
My dad used to fly DC-10's back in the day.
Automation sucks, but is great at the same time. Good old double edge sword :/
I'm going to try my best to instill a hard work ethic and proper money saving techniques unto my son. I hustled hard as a kid/teen around the neighborhood to make some money. Luckily my son already loves to be involved and help out with pretty much everything.

Had to feed the film from the platters through the projector and onto another platter (self winding setup building from the inside out). Sometimes we ran them interlocked and had one film running through two projectors. To do that there were rollers for the film to travel along the walls/ceiling to move it from one side of the room/corridor to the other.
Some maintenance tasks included bulb changes (danger!), roller inspection, theatre inspection, etc etc.
Great job.
The metal box on the left is the base for the digital projector that sits on top of the box. At the time of this photo not all of the digital cinema equipment came in. This was probably a month or so before I was laid off. The three platter "tree" feeds the film to the projector. Three platters allows two movies to alternate on one projector/auditorium.
