The Official Formula 1 2017 Season Thread
Silverstone/BRDC activated the "break clause" in their F1 contract this morning.
Cliff notes: They have taken a 7.6 Million British pound loss over the last 2 years. and are expecting another huge loss this weekend. If new contract is not negotiated, 2019 will be the last Silverstone GP.
It's also reported that the promoters fee's are increased 5% every year, so at this rate by 2026 the fee's alone would be 25million pounds.(roughly 32 million USD)
I have the full press release. but its a four pages long.

F1 sucks the money from each venue until they can no longer pay, and then it's off to the next sucker.

- Imola
- Austria
- Magny Cours
- Indy
- Turkey
- Valencia
- Fuji
- Korea
- India
- Nurburgring
- Silverstone

He was untidy in qualifying... The Baku fallout was clearly still lingering and his demeanour just seemed to compound the problems he had in the race.
Listening to Lewis' radio messages on Sunday, the impression was that he was struggling throughout. Had he started from third he could have undoubtedly won the race. Nevertheless, he was complaining all the way to the end which I believe coerces his pit wall to make decisions their data and race knowledge doesn't always support, and gives the competition too much information and confidence. He acknowledged he should have been more aggressive with Daniel Ricciardo too.

Yeah, got here Sun. Has quieted down quite a bit. Fun place to forecast for. Feels like I was just here. Oh wait, I was last fall lol.
Outrun and fire camp wood be a very bad idea. Don't have much free time but wanted to see what was relevant in F1 world since I last checked on Sun.
