DB7 EyE Sore, enjoy!
received my S2000 clutch master cylinder and spacer today.
I've had this js racing oil cap for sometime now, a couple builds later and it finds its way into another one
Great progress! If you haven't gotten to far respraying all your interior parts I would recommend "SEM" paint. I used it when I was sourcing interior parts for my hatch with blue interior. Was far more durable than other interior paints I tried. Keep up the good work!
i actually found a 6 pack of SEM on amazon for about 50 bucks a while ago, just haven't gotten around to getting them done. and yea just spraying the panels its a much better idea than paying 250+ for black door panels.
I started to drop my disk yesterday and wanted to put up my 5 lug but then I remembered your thread and how u under coated your fender wells, with pour 15? That's a spray or what? Also, What did you use to clean the wheel well? Scrap off build up? Brush?
yea I bought the pour 15 from Wesco and I wire wheeled the wheel wells. as per cleaning them, Wesco or which ever local auto body store you have, should carry the cleaning solution for it. its like a 3 step process. 100% worth it. its recommended to brush the product on.

glad to hear that! my wife was the one who motivated me to do this. she mentioned i might as well refresh the car and have it driving new so we can enjoy it for years to come.
very happy camper today! received my bottom end back from the machine shop, now to scramble to get this together.
hopefully next week i receive my cylinder head back.

got tired of my interior looking empty without hope, so i decided to mount my black dash and other black pieces
extremely satisfied how it came out. now i need to finish painting the rest of the interior.
A couple coats into the process of painting my door panels
Final product, tomorrow I'll finish the door inserts
All trim and door switches getting the treatment too, I can't seem to spend so much money on JDM items for a black interior so I figured it out
Got my fabric today for my inserts, closets thing to suede
Wooooooow. Looks good bruh u def saved a ton of money lol. I've been waiting on deals but maybe I should not have thrown out my beige interior pieces What kinda paint and or prep addy doing before u paint?

i used dupli color vinyl black paint. For the prep I used a greeny and slightly rubbed it to create a surface to stick, and then used wax and grease remover to clean it up .
Finished the first door panel, came out perfect!
Driver side panels
Passenger panels
Installed
Other side
Honestly I can't be any happier with all the progress, next is the rest of the small pieces
trailarm bushings, front bearing, lower balljoints and rear hub assembly came in today. stoked to have the car on the ground.
24 hours into having the k24, i powered washed it, removed the accessory drive and installed the RBC i had ordered a couple weeks ago and js racing oil cap that I've passed down from 2 other cars.
the motor only has 35k on it

also picked up a set of truhart coils off someone on offer up. something is better than nothing.
all sealed and ready to go!
right after the first coats of primer
all clear sprayed!
she's finally all done after months and months of putting it off and waiting for the right weather.
