2013/ EK Drag Build
As I was scrolling down I thought to my self "damn hes still running a VictorX?!" It will be interesting to see the results on such a high horsepower car. Do you think they injector placement will have any affect on the fuel atomization(sp)?

Power, same reason I'm not using Garrett either. I picked up 200whp with the PTE over the 67mm Garrett. Also when I was on the Comp I was running all of there 62mm turbos when I was running the FIS class. I never tried any of there bigger stuff.

This manifold was on Locash Racings car and Joe never had issues other than splitting the welds on the plenum but that was all corrected.
Good progress, in for the results. I am amazed that the car was able to make such good power through the 74mm TB.
I love how your car is such a beast, and still wouldn't look that out of place driving down the street to the untrained eye, and is so damn well put together and clean!

Now I only care about going fast and have moved passed the trying to keep that "street car" feeling LOL.

Well, I've decided to make some changes to the car besides moving the fuel system up front and a better manifold and throttle body. I have sold my Boost Junkyz manifold and up pipe as well as just sold the Precision 6870. I've pulled the weight ballast and will be starting fresh as well as moving the battery up front.
Currently I have a Full Race forward facing manifold being built and I have acquired a custom 72mm Comp Turbo. The good thing with the Comp Turbo is that I know specifically what this thing is capable of since it came of a pretty fast FWD Integra that just ran an 8.31 with it about three months ago.
I am pretty excited about the direction the car is headed and will start posting up some progress pictures as I go.

Nah, you're doing all your motor work, I'm just trying to shove an entire car worth of stuff under the hood LOL.
Yep, part of the decision was trying to work on the car with a top mount and the turbo. It got to the point where in order for me to pull the turbo off I would have to pull the intercooler, waste gate and pull the entire manifold off with the turbo just so I could get tools to the bolts.
Having a forward facing manifold allows direct access to the turbo since the intercooler is off to the side. The turbo itself becomes a bit easier to work on since I will have more hand access to reach instead of always standing above and digging down.

Now with Web Pro's, way better manifold, 90mm throttle body, forward facing manifold, big 72mm turbo I will run 9.0's.
Just Kidding, hope to get down to an 8.5 or 60.
