Default 96-98 99-00 under hood a/c help

I have a 98 hatchback b20 swap, all the a/c components under the hood were stripped from the car before I bought it 8 years ago and it's been 8 shitty summers in SoCal since. I found a whole under the hood ac system for super cheap on Craigslist but it's vague as to what year it came out of, are the lines and compressor/condenser different at all in the 99-00 models? I'm very sorry if this a stupid question, I don't want to buy it and a $100 crv bracket then get dicked because I was stupid and bought the wrong stuff. If anyone can help it'll be much appreciated

I can't recall off the top of my head but the easiest way to know is to compare part numbers online. if its the same part number for both models, then yeah, same system.

I bought most of what I needed on Craigslist for $50, then figured out I was missing the condensor top bracket, found one eBay for $15, the little harness with 4 plugs and a ground, found on eBay for $15 and that stupid crv bracket which was $75. If anyone can help me with an idea on how to put ghetto grommets on the bottom of the fan shroud because they were missing and I can't find any that'd be helpful and if anyone has a diagram of the ac system with the bolts for the line brackets that'd be extremely helpful because I'm missing some bolts

I typically use Majestic Honda to compare my part numbers, they should have the diagrams you need aswell. Just fill in the boxes \/

As for the "Ghetto grommets" make a mold the shape you need and pour some liquid polyurethane. You can drill and cut away at it once its dry to get exactly the shape you need. You can make your own custom bushings for any non precision part using this method.

The closest thing i could find to an example:

i appreciate the response for whatever reason majestic was acting up on my computer so I had to go deep on google for a few hours to figure **** out, went to ace hardware and spent $7, think I've got almost everything, still need a belt, r134 and maybe some compressor oil after my parts show up. This is the **** I got at ace incase anyone else comes across this in the future and needs help.

I got these for bolting the lines to the compressor, firewall, etc.
(M6-1.00x25) I paid 35 cents each

the bracket bolts (M6-1.00x12) paid 30 cents each

and my idea for the ghetto grommets are 2 rubber stoppers I found that fit in the mount holes, I'll drill a hole in them and secure them with (M6-1.00x35) bolts with washers

Pull the evaportator box and inspect. Likely there is a lot of crud on the air side that of course should be cleaned off. You may want to pre-emptively replace the expansion valve.

Use new o-rings everywhere. Make sure they are the A/C type for R-134a. Put a drop of mineral oil on each ring for a good seal. Do not use PAG oil for this. PAG oil outside the system just absorbs water and causes corrosion.

The line fittings that are a big nut over the line don't have to be super tight, the o-ring makes the seal. Always use two wrenches so you don't twist the line.

Install a new receiver drier. That is an expendable part like an oil filter. If you have a used receiver drier you can use it at first for a static leak test, then finding the system does not leak, swap it to a new one.

You must pull the air out of the lines with a vacuum pump before the final charge. A mixture of air and refrigerant will not cool well.
