I think I recognize this build from somewhere else, super nice.

Should be!! I've honestly wrestled with lower compression and turbo, or just stock replacement and refresh, or this, and honestly I think this is going to be the best bet for reliability, power, and fun. Is it gonna be 400+ HP? Probably not!! It is gonna be about 300 HP and some pretty darned good V6 torque, plus or minus?? Possibly. Considering this car has 10 gerbilpower and 1 inch pound of torque, anything is going to be way more fun.

Boredom struck again, well, boredom and a cheap price tag. Only using two for now, to fix some rear geometry issues. -3.5 degree of camber is not fun. These go on the rear, the rears go to the front, and new fenders are going on then getting rolled and pulled to try and clear the 16x7 +35 Superlatives, all while trying to maintain some level of stock camber. If I can keep it in the green on the rack, I'm a happy camper.

Cobb keeping us alive, nice updates ninja. I've been forgetting to share with you all.

2/17/17
Updates:
My latest and greatest is happening. If you've seen my current setup for sale at some point and time, this is why. I've been waiting on this head for quite sometime. Early in the thread I touched lightly on how I didn't like the LS/B20 Engines. Well, that was until I built one. Now I'm all for it. Price for Power, I reckon they are a nice bargain. Many months ago I received a B20 block, in need of a ring job. Well today I received the missing piece to my to that bock, a big valve P8R head. The big valve head, for those that don't know, are said to flow very similar to a vtec head. They also have larger intake valves. Non Vtec Series struggle to inhale, clearly visible on my old LS's dyno graph.

My goal w/ this build is to out build myself while gaining the sought after torque I'm looking for. I'll be sharing tons of links and info. on my thoughts with the b20 build. Some may be useless, overthought, or a waste, but there's only one way to find out. Whatever I build must be able to handle suspended rpm abuse, let's hope my skills are up to par. 2017 Power plant OEM specs are as follows:

BLOCK OF CHOICE
B20B-B20B4[edit]
1996–1998 specs
Non-VTEC
Found in: USDM and JDM Honda CR-V, JDM Orthia, Stepwgn, S-MX
Displacement: 1,973 cc (120.4 cu in)
Power: 126–142–140 hp (94–106–104 kW) @ 5400 rpm
Torque: 133 lb·ft (180 N·m) @ 4800
Rod length: 137 mm (5.4 in)
Compression: B20B4 (AO PISTONS) 8.8:1 (P75) or 9.2:1 (P8R)
Bore: 84 mm (3.3 in)
Stroke: 89 mm (3.5 in)
Redline: 6500 rpm
No Knock Sensor
Low Compression engine

HEAD OF CHOICE
Bore: 84 mm (3.3 in)
Combustion: 47cc mm
Intake Valve: 33mm ( like vtec :D )
Exhaust Valve: 28mm

2/28/17
LATEST PICK UP woot woot.... so many things happened in the past few weeks. Among being flustered with work, I haven't really been on the forum with time to update. I'm planning my end game, first timer swap along w/ either canning or building up that b20. Since my LS is still healthy, I may just use the JRSC to compensate what I'm "loosing" with the b20.

anyway, I've had an accord k24 long block chilling off to the side for a year or so at the shop. A week ago, I scored a complete RSX trans for $150. I wen to buy the LSD and the guy gave me the entire trans! :dancing: A friend needed some last minute trans work, low on funds, he gave me a TSX head. I thought to myself, no way, this is all happening rather quickly....it must be a k swap sign hahaha.

For now I'll stay focused on the JRSC addition, I'm not ready to road race the k power just yet.
Complete JRSC w/ fuel rail + ECU. It's missing one bracket that supports jrsc to alt. bracket. $10 purchase.

Fack. I would take the LS or B20 Super charge swap all day. The sound they make.

Did an oil change today. Funnel game on point.

Car needs CV's on both sides soon, oil pan gasket and front brakes again. 30k on the Hawk HPS pads, thought they would have lasted a bit more. Ordered all but the CV's from Rock-Auto.

Another little update, I think i'm going back to stock fenders with a little roll and pull. I feel like the Domani fenders aren't quite as wide as the Civic fenders, which I find odd, but it's possible. I was looking at old pictures, and tucked a 16x7 +35 in behind a rolled Civic fender quite nicely. I could be quite mistaken though. Apparently I just like swapping parts.

Anywho...look for updates on the now appropriately named Tri-Colored POS.

It's a multi application funnel. I own a Toyota, Honda's and a Ford. Will probably work on others too.

Lisle Corporation

Amazon Amazon

12-15k

The last 10-15k has been rough though, lots of traffic time with my new job. Ordered Akebono Pro ACT pads and Centric Rotors again.

That is indeed a beauty!

I sold my clear tails, so it was only right to begin my accord rear conversion, LOL/. I've also forgot to mention that I swapped out my 2 badly dented doors last week. PF & DR. I think it's almost time for a paint job.

Joel, NICE!!! Were the harnesses the same for your trunk and the Domani? Do you have brake lights all across the top row? One of the issues on the 99-00 is that its a lot of repining and harness building. My trunk reds are only parking lights, which I guess were park/brake on the Domani. Needless to say, I'm thinking driver's side fog light integrated with the trunk reds.

Thought I'd stop by and share a couple shots of a 4 door beater I picked up a couple of days ago. It's a Canadian Acura El 1998 model. This thing came fully loaded from factory, has a D16Y8 engine, leather steering wheel, and both a front and rear end of the jdm Domani in stock form. I picked this car up so dirt cheap for two reasons......the alternator is on its way out, and because the previous owner had replaced both rear doors with silver ones for some reason. Over the next couple weeks, I should be able to fix both those issues relatively cheap
Here is the best part....I picked it up for $300

I do. I had to re pin my stock harness sometime ago when I had went to red & white tails originally. So, yes it was plug and play. Outer tails installed yesterday. Now I need to find a passenger tail light/fender/garnish thing, and install the rear bumper and hood, then she's ready for paint.

Oh, I also re pinned the license plate lights. I wouldn't say it "looks good," but it's taking shape LOL. Thanks Jacob. It will be a Mercedes jet black. I don't like pearls at this point in my life.I've just had bad "paint matching" experiences. Plus I Just love deep blacks period.
