The Official Formula 1 2017 Season Thread
Well unless the "Still I Rise" refers to a Zombie Senna I would think it has a "higher" meaning.
Choc Jesus was a joke. I take it as a thinly viewed shot at the haters. Ham has a chip on his shoulder this year. We may see his best total season yet.

You comment about Hey Zeus brings up a good point. Ham can never really be chocolate Senna. Most he could be is caramel Senna. I have always pictured Jesus as moar olive than caramel
That's cause we look at depictions from The Renaissance. 2000 sumpin years ago them dudes was mostly brown over there.
I hope they all leave the dorsal fin black like this one, but it is $PRIMO$ real estate for sponsors. When the cars are all bunched up it's going to be an eyesore.
Who decides on the rules that govern the car's design? There always seems to be some kind of backpedaling when people don't like the cars (stepped noses, X-wings, ***** nose, V6 sound, etc) and then there will be more rules added to take care of previous rules like the midseason banning of X-wings in 1998, or the allowance of modesty panels for stepped noses.
FIA puts the rules down, but they rely on a working group made up of some FIA members, some teams, the commercial rights holder, an engine supplier, and some event promoters.

The fear among "the excluded" is that this group's ultimate intention is to divide the competitors into "works" teams and customer teams. Small teams CEO's has come out very strongly against the new body, calling into question its legality and asking how this can been seen as fair and equitable.
RB wanted to outlaw the fins for this year but the teams were worried they wanted to outlaw it because they either found away to smooth the airflow without it or a better alternative so the teams voted to keep it. Well that's the rumor I have seen a few places. I do know RB did want to ban it.
Is there a pic of those cars that actually looks good? I mean yeah the 2017 F1 noses and sails look bad but that thing makes even the CT-05 look like a work of art.
