KFC in F1?
'Yagonya Ayam may still be interested in Manor' - F1Today.net
'Yagonya Ayam may still be interested in Manor' - F1Today.net
Embattled F1 backmarker Manor's hopes may still be faintly alive. Actually, it appears that only 10 teams will line up on the 2017 grid, after Manor's administrator FRP recently announced the out-of-money team must "close its doors". But Luis Vasconcelos, a correspondent for the Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat, said hopes may still be faintly alive.
That is because, while former US grand prix founder Tavo Hellmund's bid to buy Manor fell apart, an Indonesian group may still be interested. Vasconcelos said that bid is headed by Ricardo Gelael.
Indeed, we reported recently that Gelael's Jagonya Ayam company - which is the Indonesian branch of global fast food giant KFC - was interested in investing in Manor. Already in 2016, a GP2 team with a KFC livery was sponsored by Gelael, featuring his son Sean Gelael at the wheel.
Turun Sanomat now reports that Gelael's Manor takeover bid failed over concerns about hidden team debts. "Although FRP announced the factory closure, it does not necessarily stop Ricardo Gelael from buying," said Vasconcelos. "In fact, he now has the opportunity to buy the team for a considerably lower price."

Rosberg: I?d prefer Alonso to have replaced me at Mercedes
shot fired lol
“Everyone says Alonso and I say it too, because there would be fireworks with Hamilton [he laughs]. “As a fan, it would be nice, but for the team, it wouldn't work. They've found a great solution.
“Bottas is fast and though Hamilton will be at a very, very high level and it will be difficult to beat him, I have proved that he can.”
Speaking of Bottas, Rosberg quipped: “I have him on pole in the first race in Australia!”

Yup and yup. Sold to my very good friend. He flies out every week for work, so Mon-Fri it's parked at my house and he leaves me the keys. I drive it to work on days I don't have class or have to pick up my son. He's added Volk CE28's, jdm Recaro's, and a koni ground controls with skunk2 camber adjustments front and rear. Car drives and even looks better now lol.

Sure are. I had the complete OEM optional kit. I made her into a ITR clone inside and out. Motor pushed 175whp to boot. Was a fun, quiet, smooth, clean and beautiful car. Got looked over a lot just because it was green lol. Didn't mind that too much tho.

I know that feeling. I like my car being overlooked too, hence painting the front mount black. Cept right now it still has fangs painted on it from Halloween lol.

Going back to Blue for a second. Is it easy to delete your account or was he possibly removed by force? I know he had some dust ups in the past in GD and I'm hoping he didn't do something to get voted off the island.

Thank you Fal Cong Sr.
I always wanted a set of blades. But over time the Si wheels grew on me. I felt it gave it more upscale GT look.

I was just wondering if it is possible to delete one's account. I'm the type that takes **** apart to figure out why it works. I've been trying to figure out how to delete my account for the last day and I can't find it. That's all. I don't want to delete it, just curious.

Sauber confirms Wehrlein medical examinations ongoing
That can't be good for the ROC. Wonder if some teams will stop allowing their driver's to participate Then again there were no Merc or RB drivers there...
Wehrlein's car flipped over Massa's left-front wheel and ended up hitting the barriers. The German driver appeared to be unscathed and later reported to be okay.
German media reported on Monday, however, that Wehrlein had suffered a neck injury in the accident, claiming he could be forced to miss some of the testing that kicks off on February 27.
On Monday, Sauber labelled the reports as "pure speculation", but did reveal Wehrlein was still undergoing medical tests.
