We got 50-60kt llj right now. I was supposed to work tonight but months ago I was asked to teach the weather portion of an advanced fire behavior course this week so my schedule was altered. Those poor bastards at work tonight...


NASCAR expected to announce Monday it will change how it awards points

Not sure what to make of that. If they keep the races going and just award the points like they used to do the halfway bonus then it may actually help the racing. If they turn the event into a series of heat races it will suck and be stupid.

NASCAR is expected to divide races into segments, and drivers would get points depending on their running order at the end of each segment, according to industry sources. The news conference Monday is expected to detail the new points distribution system with the goal that drivers will have to compete for spots early in the event rather than having the option to bide their time until the end of the race before making a move.

concrete block construction there is good for storms.
wood frame here is good for quakes but sketchy af in wind. **** be creakin yo. trees stayed mostly upright.
