Default 1993 civic dx 1.5

My sons car has me stumped... xmas eve it dies on him while driving and wouldnt restart. had it towed home. after looking at it today I have found a bad pcv valve( it wasnt making noise, and was collapsing the hose) got that changed. the car seemed better until I went for a drive... car seems to be burning oil( bluish smoke) and its over pressurizing the cooling system ( was spraying coolant from rad cap( cap is brand new), but when I was comming to a stop the car died on me..but restarted but restarted but ran like it had a miss, or was flooded

Is the check engine light on when the car dies?

Off the top of my head:

Many aftermarket radiator caps are garbage and don't seal at all. Try a Honda radiator cap.

The main relay may be acting up. Anyone who wants to keep their 92-95 Civic for a while should re-solder the joints on the main relay anyway. Very prone to dry joints that can cause intermittent no-start-now-it-starts BS.

Another free thing to check, ignition switch. Remove and clean contacts point.
check thermostat.
Use OEM radiator cap, as mentioned above.

Bleed the coolant again to be safe (after t-stat inspect/replace)

I would actually go rent a block tester.

The 93 DX would be the D15B7 motor with the graphite head gasket. These are very well known to blow.

Looks like Autopartsway in USA doesn't have the Ishino Leak gasket but did find it on partsgeek.com

Then you just need to source the head bolts as they are supposed to be replaced as the ones used on the graphite gaskets were not of the same quality.
