If Ham had been thinking like a champion he would have slowed more and let Max and Seb by both Mercs and THEN passed them back. Toto would have lost his ****.
The hamsters of the world/interwebs thinks this was some German nationalist conspiracy. Forgetting for a moment the cars and engines are made in the UK.
Who knows, this could be the best thing to happen to HAM. He may be a beast next season on a quest to totally assert his dominance over Rosberg.
Did you read my driver intro?!
FTR, I totally think this is the scenario that plays out. If the car is good enough, HAM is going to be rampaging in it. I hope Britney gets the Champion's lift as JB did (Kimi not so much). JB turned in some solid drives post 2009, and I like to think it was because he had already proved he was "the man".
At the end of F1 2017, I'll (hepefully) be graduating again. Can't wait.
Whatever his reason, it doesn't do him a ton of good to test the tires at this point since they're still using the current chassis. Plus Hamilton doesn't seem to be the type of driver that needs a lot of time in the seat to be quick. Whether he's sick or not, I'm sure he's ready for a break.
Eh, with the testing rules the way they are any time on track is valuable. Probably why he was trying so hard to be at the test.

not sure if srs.
I'd think its just as likely he was forced to be there, but pulled the sick/nausea card to GTFO of there. I suppose he could have actually been really sick. I just don't see him carrying much about testing these days. Not like he's suffered for (lack of) it.
