Singapore is likely done when the current contract is up...although I don't think it'll fall into ruin like the Valencia Street Circuit.

sepang is made for motorcycles. it sells out all three days of racing when motogp is there and barely anyone shows up for f1. a rich man's sport doesnt belong in countries where two wheeled vehicles outnumber 4 wheeled ones 5 to 1

And Ferdy had to get by both of them, since Kubica earned himself a free stop (relative to Ferdy). Just getting by Petrov wouldn't have accomplished anything.

Is Rubens Barrichello. We spent four years together and we went through some very difficult times together. I mean, at one point my team didn’t exist anymore, at the end of 2008. But in 2009 we drove together at Brawn and that was a special time. And he was also the best team-mate in terms of setting up a car. Fernando is good, but Rubens was at another level. Let me put it this way, you can see why Michael Schumacher wanted him as his team-mate for so long.”

I was intrigued by drivers willing to play second fiddle. Looking back, maybe they realized they weren't at that alien level so they made the best of the situation.

And just found out Red Bull Technologies is one of the companies in the running for designing and manufacturing the next IndyCar aero kit.

2nd fiddle in a top car is better than 1st fiddle in a midfield car. Pays better too. Unless you're Alonso and can get paid more than anyone else to drive around at the back of the grid in a GP2 car.
