So since I haven't shared my car much on this forum, well not many forums honestly since Facebook killed the thread game, I figured why not try and spark some drag racers interest and get users back online.
Car is a 92 CX hatchback that was originally built as a street car over a year ago but since has slowly converted over to a drag only car. Things like the gas tank are what I teetered on for a while. Taking it out, putting it in, etc lol. It only takes a few trips to the track to do that to someone. The goal is to go fast, tens fast. And to do that in an unmolested shell, I need to shed all the weight I can (I wont cut another car up) Plus the plans of safety items such as a cage are in its future so dialing in the weight and where it is, is key.
This is the car last winter before totally taking it back to a street car AGAIN. Now, once again, were going for this same thing. Damn, I hate buying **** twice!
On to the motor.. Ill just list it here for ease of reading. No one likes to read anymore lol thanks IG.
The last track day of the year, the night before on the dyno for a fuel change we noticed a problem with voltage. Car was dropping voltage during the pulls. Fluctuating to more accurate. I replaced the alternator on a whim that night and hit the track 3 hours later. Car wasn't performing how it should've and I knew it to be related to this voltage fluctuation. This was when I decided to replace all the wiring in the car...
Box -o- Goodies arrives. This is the order I made to get things going.Raychem DR-25, Bussmann Fuse Box, bunch of Deutsch DT connectors, TXL and Tefzel wire and some odds and ends. This is how things are looking.
PaiBuilt Wiring out of Meriden, CT is doing the wiring and I must say, I've been blown away.

Got a nice care package from a few different vendors. Inside we find a KTUNED water pump delete kit, Tractuff water pump mounting bracket, some DT connector mounts, and a CiscoTech CF block off kit for EG dashboards.
Also picked up some safety equipment. If I want to go tens, Ive got to do it safely and legally. DP Race Parts Scatter Shield..
Thanks guys. Trying to get as much done as possible so we can move onto the chassis. 6pt cage from Whitfield is in its near future.
The guys over at Import DPS hooked it up with a beautiful CSF King cooler radiator. What a nice piece. Comes with threaded fittings so you can either run normal hoses or -16AN. I opted for the ladder.
looking great, will follow this thread for progress. I keep an eye on it on IG too (cgwhit)
Thanks man! What's your IG?

That's the plan, as long as my safety gets in order over the winter, other wise just index again.

Thank you sir!
Not much went on over the weekend. Got a few other misc parts I needed. Fuel lines, fittings, etc. Wiring is almost complete at PaiBuilt and should be able to be installed by next weekend. Excited to see it all come together on the car.
Awaiting a buddy of mine who welds to come by and secure the radiator and fuel cell. Anyone have any pictures of how they've secured/mounted their drag radiators?
