We're having fitment issues. We had to lengthen the b-pipe by 2 and 1/4 inches. We even tried pushing the muffler towards the front as much as we could and it was hitting my Eibach rear sway bar before it could reach all the way to the b-pipe.

The only thing I can think of that's wrong is maybe the 00-01 DB8s have the hangars in different spots..
Maybe you need something like this

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

In conjunction with the correct obd2 converter. Hopefully that should help.

If you have the resources, then making a piece like that would allow you to keep the factory b-pipe unmodified and solve the gap between exhaust components. Just get 2 flanges, exhaust piping, gaskets, and measure up the distance you need to fill.

Damn. Wish I would have known about this before. Unfortunately we ran into the problem at a Bentley dealership that my friend works at and the shop was supposed to be closed, so we had to get my car out of there and now my OEM b-pipe has an extention welded on

There's nothing wrong with your setup...besides, how often do you look under your car?

I don't have the resources to weld so I buy whatever is available.

Nothing wrong with that. But I'm sure there's a muffler shop somewhere nearby you.

Yeah, would be loud getting there. They might not charge as much as that adapter, but its peace of mind knowing that the welds will hold up. They have similar products on ebay for different sizes, 2.5 and 3 inches plus cheaper than the tanabe one.

Not really...The issue has been resolved. Tony is justifying the choice of purchasing a pre-made muffler extension over having a muffler shop weld one together. That's all.

Nothing complicated.

Just pointing out options for us DB lovers. I wish I had my pictures of my sisters db7, I put alot of time and blood on that sucker. Kinda glad that I did because it lasted another additional 10+ yrs and still going even though its a 95 special edition.

How do those quick release bumper locks work? Still trying to figure out how it makes removing the bumper any quicker. I assume the locks replace the use of the phillips head screws that secure the ends of the bumper to the fenders?

It's just a stupid way for kids to ruin fenders and bumper covers in an attempt to look racecar.

honestly they don't work that great, i got these from home depot for like 5 bucks as a quick fix so my bumper wouldn't hang. my tabs are broken and the OEM screw and plastic won't hold.

Hey guys,
I've grown a liking to the DB's over the years since I got mine in 2012. Seems like I'm never finished and strangely enough I'm okay with that. Gives me something to look forward to I guess. Wanna shave my doors soon among many things! I'm always on the hunt for DB parts locally so feel free to hit me up if there's parts you need.

Anyways DB Squad...

I WANT IN!!!
