Well they are not supposed to be messing with any UXOs. Crew were instructed to GPS any that they found and allow DOD experts to take care of it. That said not all of them are just sitting on top of the ground. A lot of them were found as dozer and hand line was being put in.

One of the Renaults is very on fire right now and keeps bursting in to flames... it happened in pit lane and I'm not quite sure what's going on lol. I think it's Magnusons car but not 100% on that.

We’re going to use Formula 1 technology like it is. We have to adapt it, but it’s going to be the 1.6-liter V-6,” the AMG boss said referring to the hybridized and turbocharged powertrain (pictured below) that Mercedes currently uses to race at the highest level. Autoblog further reports that the car will sport active aerodynamics and feature output levels expected to be in the 1000-hp range—all fed to the rear wheels—while the engine’s redline will fall between 10,000 and 11,000 rpm.

Were there any changes to Sepang with the repaving? Something seems a little off but I can't put my finger on it.

there's lots of changes to the surface and camber changes to multiple corners. cars were predicted to be 3sec faster this year
apparently last corner is way off camber now to make it an espicy meat-a-ball-a and first 2 corners are now flat so you can sight the corner exit without going thru the dip

my smart friend just theorized tank overpressure somehow caused fuel to vent out of that hole

I like it. They can't inject fuel anywhere else, and I doubt they plumb the fuel lines that high up for lulz.

So Alonso finished the session in 5th only 1 tenth off the Ferraris. I believe he was using the new Honda update, but either way there is hope! Honda is slowly but surely pulling its head out of its ***.
