DB18=(DB1)8 or D(B18)

 

what up guys. Not new to hondas but am real interested in buying a db1 and restoring it to use as a daily. Do all of them come with abs? I would so much rather have one without the abs but still have the sunroof. I am going to be on this thread for a while. I currently have a 400hp del sol, tsx, and a dc2 auto that Im going to sell to get my da. Thanks guys

 

rs dont have abs.. and no options

 

90-93 ls integras don't have abs or power locks

 

Hey fam need help I'm trying to find what kind of bike rack mount this guy with the black db1 is using mines the teal one on top his bike rack is mounts on top mines hooks on the window guard if you guys know what he's using lmk

 

It's been a while. But I'm getting where I want to be. Hopefully I will be getting a TSX for a daily soon so I can start some more in depth engine work.

Lots of real nice cars in this thread all of which are unique. DB1 is a very Versatile Platform.

I bought my "tugboat" last August as a daily beater while I worked on my S13 240sx OneVia. I've owned Hondas before and knew what it was when I bought it; 30 mpg low maintenance POS M-F beater. I didn't think I'd actually like it. I picked up my 92 DB1 RS for 1300 on CraigsList with 2 owners no accidents, 160 on the clock with 5 speed bone stock and in surprisingly great condition with everything working. I finally have it looking half decent with late night hammer-drunk impulse internet purchases and extra wrench time at work. Wanted to keep a thread going, but I also have a few questions for the experienced integra owners.

The roof rack in the earlier thread on the black DB looks like the one i need to buy. I need the rack that clears the windows because i have window visors i tried to install with a rack i bought online, but the windows dont clear it easily and i'd have to modify these sweet visors. If anyone can point me in the right direction to purchase that rack, I will buy you a round of drinks anywhere here in Orange county.

Another question I have is: when swapping a B18C into my B18A Harness, what exactly will I need to run VTEC properly without the CEL coming on?

Any help on either of these would be very greatly appreciated. I have a B18C sitting in my garage waiting for install but I haven't done much research on whats needed to get the computer involved.

What an amazing thread!
I just fluked and found an untouched well maintained '93 DB1... So Stoked! We been looking for a while now, found it in a demo car FB group! Hehe!
We just got it home today, needed a dizzy, drives great.
Needs some low low parts and a set of wheels to start. Cleaning it up now...
Going to scour this thread tonight!
