the Drive shaft tunnel will be welded in from a 90 Civic wagon and custom drive shafts, Axles and wheel hubs from Drive Shaft Shop.

Thats the price to go fast and loud. in a car it ant the cost of the car to cost of parts. its how you use them.
sure i could use a $85000.00 GTR with 100000.00$ cost of parts. but I'm going to beat that GTR With the CRX on the circuit,
and drive the CRX home.

 

so did this happen yet or is this just a pipe dream? the car is NOT my style and the parts list is not my thing either but i respect good work and good execution.

Cool build, but what is your goal with this car? Show? Race? If race, what racing were you planning on doing?

 

my timeline is starting in a few months i have to wait for my money to came in that i sued a guy for my last car and pain and suffering .
the body will be striped down and then framing will start. 18 hours with stripe and tubular subframes and semi tub front end and susp. knocks installed and tiged.
with the drive shaft tunnel welded in too. 12 hours for the engine and transmission and rear diff with rad and intercooler with piping installed
3hours to install the wiring and motec stuff. and i don't know about the stereo yet ill be subbing that job off. swell as painting it.

 

my goal is for show and street with fun on the circuit track when its opened to public

 

Please see a financial advisor, about money management if you are seriously considering this.

I'm pretty sure a 50k budget would get you a very enjoyable car.

Know this cause it is 100% true. Dropping 150k into a crx, will leave you with a car that you could probably sell for 20k someday. Every part you order will be worth 30% of what you paid for it as soon as you open the box.

 

For this kind of money, i'd buy an Audi RS7 and have enough left over to build a turbo K series

Why not just EVO X?
Then you save a boatload of money, can still drive home after track days, have a superior suspension on the track, have a much nicer car inside and out, and more than likely a better resale value because it's an instant classic even though it's brand new.

two on the intercooler and two on the full size a/c and rad
