Mercedes has decided an engine penalty will be taken for Hamilton at Spa-Francorchamps, given the nature of the circuit and the possibilities for overtaking.
It is believed Mercedes will replace both the MGU-H and turbo, along with other components, effectively providing Hamilton with a fresh power unit to help him get through the remaining nine races of the campaign.
Hamilton had suggested taking two penalties and provide him with two new power units at one race weekend, building up a stash of systems.
Details on whether Mercedes has taken such an approach have not yet emerged.

Even the great CART champion Alex Zanardi didn't do much with a Jordan 191. Would love to know more about the contract intricacies and backroom dealings. Did MS want to go to Benetton? Was it WW's initiative or Flabio's to try to get MS into a Benetton?

Relocation packages are pretty sweet. 4 guys showed up and spent 8 hours today boxing up everything I own. Truck picking it up tomorrow and will drop it off at some point in the future (original delivery date was the 29th but the house won't be ready until the 1st so it goes to storage for a little bit).

Parents have mixed feelings. They know I'm making the right move long term but I'm 2 hours from them right now and will be 4 hours from them in Detroit so they're not too happy about that.
