Old water pump. Dont know if this thing was even moving water lol.

Reassembling the engine today. Timing belt, tensioner and water pump in. Moving on to the trans using resurfaced stock flywheel and new stock clutch for now. Any feedback or comments are appreciated.

Ordered xtd stg.2 clutch today and dropped off my flywheel for resurfacing. I weighed the flywheel and it came out to 16.8lbs on my baller bathroom walmart scale. I thought that flywheels for d series were 18lbs and vx were 15.5lbs. I dont know what one is 16.8. Pics will go up once i have the clutch and flywheel at the casa.

I hear you. I have owned these on 3 separate builds. 2 of em were flawless. 1 was a bastard. I hope this is a good one.

Rims and tires installed. Drove it for the 1st time today.

Lowering it soon. Progress cs2 are calling my name.

D15b is in and running but has some idle issues that i need to investigate. Xtd clutch engages beautifully. So stoked taking it down the street for the 1st time. Start to finish its been all me so to look back to the beginning is an emotional journey for sure. Thank you all for coming along from the start. Now i just need to fine tune everything and get it running tight so i can transition it to my daily.

Fiddling with the car and checling codes. Throwing codes 6 and 14. Idle is going up and down and when i rev it and the revs drop slowly. Work in progress.

Update. I had the wrong connector plugged into my iacv. Idle was hunting up and down but once i connected the right one it smoothed right out. Runs so nice i cant stand it now. Wiring vtec up next and have to address a squishy brake pedal. Otherwise well on her way to being my daily.

Old cylinder about to come out.

New cylinder bench bled. Ready to go in.

New cylinder in and leak free. Bled the brakes and everything is ready. Brakes are firm and smooth. Now on to smog and nabbing those tags.

Installed new pcv valve yesterday. Old pcv was clogged badly!!! Hooked up temp sensor on back of the engine and now no cel is present. Ironing it out nicely. Such a smooth running civic now.

Picked up some amber corners and a 20pc gunmetal washer set for 20 bux.

Should match the gunmetal theme nicely underhood. Detailing the bay before installing.

Ambers on. I dig em.

Much better look than oem corners.

Spent an hour with some soapy water, rags and wd40 cleaning parts of the bay to install the washers. Still need to clean more but looking better.
