As said, the inside fan works, and the switches light up when you press AC or Max AC, but no change in temp.
The clutch and condenser fan do not come on.
I swapped AC relay with Defroster and no change
It has freon in it, and wouldn't take any more since it wasn't coming on (couldn't get accurate PSI #s tho, but they weren't too high)
My question is, I pulled the plug to the condenser to jump it, but saw 4 wires on it, so I'm not sure what to do with it.
And it started raining before I could get to check the wire to the compressor. (there's only one to it??) But I will check for OHM and Vs as soon as I can.
I'm thinking it might be clogged? but until I can jump it, I won't be able to move on. So, which wires should I jump, or should I just do 12v straight to the compressor wire? (again, there's only one?)
Ok, I could get to the compressor wire connector today and got it loose.
No OHMs to ground, and nothing with direct 12v+ to it either, so I guess the clutch is fried! (it turns by hand, but is kinda tight I'd say)
Joy, looks like I have to take everything apart in the front. eh
Does anyone know if you need to take the bumper cover off to have better access to the compressor or can you get there from taking out the radiator and cowl only?
Ok, now I have a problem getting the 2 #14s off.. Its holding some kinda block that isn't on the reman compressor.. It measures 5.5mm but my socket just spins.
Should I dremel them off, or should they eventually come loose? Any special sockets that small? (I know some work, but are usualyl 10mm+)
I put PB Blaster on it for overnight, then will check again before I go to town for tools.
