Default Need help finding a part number for 96-00 dash vent clip

I just popped this vent out of my dash and the 2 clips underneath went flying. I found them, but after I snapped everything back into place, the vent is very loose. When I look on Honda Parts Unlimited, I can't see a part number for the clips:

1999 Honda CIVIC COUPE|

It says the vents are discontinued, but the illustration doesn't even show the clips. Is there somewhere else where I can find this part number?

wouldn't the clips be #12 in the diagram you provided? You could also call the guys at collegehillshondaparts.com and see what they could help you find.. to make sure it's the correct clip.

I also thought it might be #12, but the images I found in Google don't match what I have. I called 2 different Honda dealers and they couldn't help me. One guy kept telling me it's part of the vent, which it's obviously not.

you could also go to a local fastenal store and see what they have. They also have lots of catalogs to look through once you tell them what the clip is from, they should be able to find one that works.

If all else fails, visit your local junk yards. But it does look like 12 is what you need and that 12 comes with purchase of 8 or 9.

Thanks guys, I ordered number 12 from a local dealer and they'll let me make sure it's what I want before I pay for it. If that doesn't work, I'll explore the other options.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I don't have any good junkyards close to me. I looked at the PicknPull website and the closest is 160 miles away.
