Technical analysis: Fuel gains lift Honda?s hopes of 2016 progress
Wonder if they can make the fuel moar energy dense so McHonda can do less fuel saving.
Crawley says that proof of the kind of leaps that can be made came for the second Barcelona test, when ExxonMobil introduced its current specification of fuel.
"The fuel we are running right now, which went in to the car in Barcelona – at the second test – that was a double digit improvement in horsepower," he said. "It was a significant improvement.
"That is coming from a combination of engine design and combustion system design and fuel. So the programme, really, is to try to get as much performance out of this engine – improve the thermal efficiency of this engine.
"We have ideas about how that should be done from a chemistry point of view and also a design point of view, and so do Honda.

Honda is powered by dreams. I don't see any major improvements this year, and by major improvements I mean consistently challenging for 4th or 5th place.

I found this interestering. Esteban Ocon will test for Renault on day 1 of the Barcelona test, and will test for Mercedes on day 2.

While the width of the 2017 cars will be like the ones we last saw during Jacques Villeneuve's championship season in 1997 the space between the chassis and inner side of the tires will be the same since the extra width for 2017 is from making the tyres wider.
What is this crap?

Fixing the MGU-H problem Lewis Hamilton has suffered in the last two races is the “highest priority” for Mercedes according to executive director for technical Paddy Lowe.
