Default Heater core questions 88 crx

I have a 88 crx with a b16 swap. Fun little car, but Michigan can get a little chill in the mornings and evenings lol. The guy that did the swap originally bypassed the heater because the blower didn't work anyways. Since I have owned the car I came across a blower and put it in and got it working. My question, will there be any affects by hooking up the factory 88 crx heater core to the b16. I honestly don't see where there would be, and ai believe it would work just fine but wanted to ask someone with a little more knowledge on the subject. Appreciate the info, thank you!

Hook it up you will be fine. Make sure you bleed the cooling system properly after as well.

I use the funnel below and it works very well.
