I think it's a great chance for Max to prove himself in a better chassis.

Yeah but RIC had several failures not down to driver error while KVY did. Plus RIC tried out that new spec of Renault PU that was garbage and cost him 10 place penalty.

See I'm I'm on both sides of this argument. I can see why RB did it (especially with the potential of not knowing what they have in MAX and his supposed out clause if he isn't driving for RB in 2017 is true) but I also think the timing is pretty pathetic.

 

 

It is shitty, BUT it could be worse. RB could have dropped DK completely. I think a lot of people were surprised when he got the RBR ride in the first place after just one year at STR. While he did well at STR, it wasn't anything I would consider spectacular.

 

Well I didn't think Ricciardo would have the upper hand over Seb at RBR...
