93 Civic/D15B VTEC-E JDM swap - CEL code 14 or 24?
D15B nonVTEC - basically the same as our D15B7 or D15B8 I don't remember which.
D15B VTEC - basically the same as our D16Z6 but 1.5L
D15B VTEC-E - basically the same as out D15Z1
D15B three stage VTEC - OBD2 only variant, combination of Z1 and Z6 functionality. It's called three stage because the engine has three different modes, solinoids of, one solinoid on, both solinoids on.
The D16Z6 came in the 92-95 Civic EX/Si
JDM D15B has the same head as the D16Z6
D15B found in a 1995–1998 Honda Civic Ferio Vi
So if he says VTEC-E is basically the same as out as D15Z1, the ECU used for D15Z1 is.... P07 : 92-95 OBD-1 Civic VX
But I saw this on Hondata...
P08 : 92-95 OBD-1 Civic D15 JDM
So instead of a P28, I need a P08????
P08 actually would be for a JDM D15B SOHC VTEC which is actually more similiar to a USDM D16Z6. The JDM equivalent of the VX engine D15Z1 SOHC VTEC-E would use a P07. Take some shots of your engine including block stamp. It's very possible you have a 3 stage VTEC engine in which case you'll need a totally different ECU.

OP - Post a picture of the engine head code to distinguish the OBD1 versus OBD2 JDM D15B VTEC.

Okay. You have the OBD1 JDM D15B VTEC-E engine, which requires a P07 ECU, as mentioned by HPH.
Can you also post a picture of the VTEC solenoid(s)?

Needs new cam sensor.
Cam sensor located inside differential of transmission.
Sounds like you need a new transmission.
Change O2 sensor at the same time to be safe.

5 speed P07 are quite abundant, the auto ones are rare as they didn't make them over here. Honestly though you are going to have to do some additional wiring as the P07 uses a 5 wire 02 and EGR equipment that you'll need to pick up. Not sure if it's possible but see if you find a chipped P28 with a P07 basemap.

I've been looking all day on Google for the correct ECU for my motor.
I have a JDM D15B in my AUTOMATIC 93 Honda Civic
It's the OBD1 JDM (dip stick in the middle of the exhaust manifold, this is how i know it's OBD1)
What is the correct ecu for this motor!

This number was on the head
P07-1
I was also reading that this motor comes in 1991-1999 Honda Civic VTi EG4
