Code 70 is a general auto transmission code. The ECU is for an auto trans, but you likely have a manual trans.

Unplug the fuel injector clips, secure the injectors, and crank engine for 30 seconds. Do additional codes show up?

Do you have a multimeter?

Stock or aftermarket distributor?

Do you have a multimeter?

Does your engine possibly have a CKF sensor? Or has somebody already done the CKF trick on your car?

If your engine has no CKF sensor, then a CKF code should be thrown with the P2E ECU installed.

How long have you owned the car?

I have not done the ckf trick. I can visually see that the bypass has not been done

I have had my shell for 3 weeks

I will look up in how to check if my motor has ckf sensor. I believe that sensor is I the oil pump?

Yes. Look for a wire harness emerging from the upper timing belt cover on the alternator side. Post pictures.

Do you see any wire modification in the distributor connector?

Can you locate the unused CKF connector on the rear side of the block near the alternator?

Do this test:

Turn key off.

Unplug ECU connector C.

Test for continuity between pins C1 and C4 in unplugged ECU connector C.

Test for continuity between pins C11 and C14 in unplugged ECU connector C.

What do you find?

There's no continuity between them.

This is so weird motor ran perfectly before I pulled the motor.

I assume the CEL works because code 70 is thrown.

Jump the service connector. Does only code 70 show up? Let CEL blink until code 70 repeats.

Is the 7.5A hood BackUp fuse blown?
