Ef hatch obdo b18 cel for iac. Runs fine
Switch to obd1 throws same cel and put into limp mode.
Tried different ecus and different dizzys. Would the iac put it into limp mode.

The IACV has nothing to do with the distributor, it's the unit on the intake manifold that helps regulate idle. Do you not have it hooked up?

 

Yes it is hooked up. Just in limp mode

 

i had the same issue in my old 98 ex. swapped iac 4 times with brand new units and issue still stayed. used a better scan tool and found out temp reading between sensor output and ecu readings were off. swapped coolant temp sensor, fan switch and cooltant temp switch. then cel went away. try swapping those out.

 

That made you car in limp mode?
