I can get some pics tomorrow. See PM.
EDIT: Sorry no pics, the car is at another location and I was super busy today.
I don't remember everything from the installation exactly, and I also removed and repaired the drain pan/sunroof housing when I did mine so that might have something to do with it. Also, I'm just a hobbyist, not a professional so that could explain some of my issues. However, here are a few things that stick out in my memory:
1) There are some studs that are in the sunroof that need to be trimmed down or else it will scrape the paint on your roof.
2) There is a little metal piece (that might be a little rusted) on the OEM sunroof that holds the weather strip in place, you are going to need to keep (and possibly repair) that. It won't fit on the carbon roof exactly like the OEM because the OEM has a little metal tang on it. You will see what I'm talking about. However, it will look and work properly.
3) There are these little plastic pieces that hold the sunroof on the rails. Be very careful not to break them by over-torquing.
4) If at any time during the installation the arms on the mechanism must be synchronized and/or adjusted please enjoy a beer... or a soda... or whatever.
5) The motor that runs the sunroof works by a gear, whose teeth engage 2 corkscrewed cables which must be precisely synchronized. If at anytime during installation this needs adjustment see no. 4 above.
6) If you want it to work correctly, the sunroof must be properly aligned on the rails and the rails must be parallel or it will bind. The aftermarket one might be slightly different so this could require some creativity, i.e. adding shims, making holes larger, etc..
That is all that comes to mind right now, but the good news is that you can have a leak free, rustproof, and perfectly functioning sunroof when you finish.

so far they've taken in 3 checkered flags with the road racing engine I've built for them...so they're motivated to get my CRX done for me lol...
Greg
lol I know what you mean about the bill...but as everyone knows sometimes in the car enthusiast scene you need to barter...in my case I bartered my labor for building the guys a nice K series road racing engine in return for them to get the body work done to my CRX (I pay for materials they do labor).
